Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 170°F (or the lowest temperature your oven allows). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the strawberries, honey (if using), and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the strawberry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly into a thin layer using a spatula.
- Bake for 4-6 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky to the touch and peels off easily from the parchment paper.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Cut the fruit leather into strips and roll them up with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
