Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups

Transform a classic grilled cheese sandwich into these fun, crispy roll-ups! Perfect for a quick snack or a kid-friendly meal.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 4 slices of cheddar or American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Directions:

  1. Trim the crusts off the bread slices. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice slightly.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread, trimming the cheese if necessary to fit.
  3. Roll up each slice tightly, pressing gently to seal the edges.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Spread a small amount of butter on the outside of each roll-up.
  6. Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, turning frequently, until all sides are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the skillet and serve immediately, with a side of marinara sauce or ketchup if desired.
