Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

A fun twist on the classic sausage ball—these are extra creamy, with a zesty kick from Rotel tomatoes and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for game day, potlucks, or snacking anytime!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can Rotel (10 oz), drained well
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick (or other baking mix)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
  2. Mix the ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, shredded cheese, and Bisquick. Mix until fully combined. You can use your hands or a stand mixer.
  3. Shape the balls:
    Roll into 1 to 1 ½-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake:
    Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temp should reach 160°F.
  5. Cool slightly and serve:
    Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
