Tropical Cheesecake Fruit Salad

A creamy, dreamy cheesecake-style fruit salad loaded with tropical fruits and a hint of citrus — perfect for potlucks, BBQs, or a refreshing anytime treat!


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup Cool Whip or whipped topping
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)

Fruit (feel free to adjust):

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or drained canned)
  • 1 cup mango chunks
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced (add just before serving)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or macadamia nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Make the cheesecake base:
    In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until creamy.
  2. Mix in pudding:
    Add the cheesecake pudding mix, yogurt, lime juice, and mix until fully combined.
  3. Fold in whipped topping:
    Gently fold in the Cool Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add the fruit:
    Carefully fold in all prepared fruit except the banana. Add coconut and nuts if using.
  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let flavors combine. Add banana slices just before serving to prevent browning.
