Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

A flavorful twist on traditional sausage balls, made with Rotel tomatoes, cream cheese, and sausage, perfect for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or a quick snack.


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (or ground sausage of your choice)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Mix the ingredients:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel tomatoes (drained), shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Use your hands or a spoon to thoroughly mix everything together until well combined.
