PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PASTA

📋 Ingredients:
8 oz penne pasta
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩‍🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sirloin steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ In the same skillet, add the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
4️⃣ Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring frequently.
5️⃣ Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
6️⃣ Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the cooked steak back into the skillet and mix well.
7️⃣ Gradually add the provolone cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more beef broth to reach your desired consistency.
8️⃣ Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, ensuring it is well coated with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
9️⃣ Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
