1. Cowboy Butter Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings (split, tips removed)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
½ tsp garlic powder
Cowboy Butter Sauce:
½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice (plus zest from ½ lemon)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Prep the Wings: Pat wings dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, and garlic powder.
Cook the Wings:
Oven: Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Air Fryer: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
Make Cowboy Butter: While wings cook, melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice/zest, parsley, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
Toss & Serve: Place hot wings in a large bowl and pour cowboy butter over the top. Toss well to coat.
Garnish: Sprinkle extra parsley or chives on top before serving.
Serve with extra cowboy butter on the side for dipping.
2. Garlic Fried Chicken Wings
Chicken Marinade:
3 lbs chicken wings
4 tbsp soy sauce
12 garlic cloves, grated
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 tsp salt
2 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp shaoxing wine
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp onion powder
2 cups oil
1 cup chopped peppers (optional)
Instructions:
Marinate the chicken with the marinade for about an hour.
Heat up your oil on medium heat until 350F, fry until cooked and golden, about 3-5 minutes.
Once all the chicken is done frying, add in the chopped peppers and quickly fry for about 1 min until crispy. Season to taste and enjoy!
3. Garlic Parmesan Wings
2 pounds split chicken wings
1/2 tablespoon avocado oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
4 tablespoons butter, diced
4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1 tsp lemon zest
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup grated parmesan, plus more for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the chicken wings dry and then add them to a large mixing bowl. Add the avocado oil, baking powder, salt, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to the wings and until well coated.
Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and the skin is crispy, flipping halfway through.
When the wings are almost done, make the garlic herb sauce. Add the minced garlic, lemon zest, and fresh parsley to a small mixing bowl. Melt the butter over medium low heat in a small saucepan. Pour the warm butter over the garlic mixture and stir until well combined.
Add the baked chicken wings to a large mixing bowl and drizzle the garlic herb butter over the wings. Add the grated parmesan and toss until the wings are well coated.
Transfer the wings to a serving platter and garnish with additional parmesan and serve with celery, carrots, and blue cheese dressing or ranch.
4. Spicy Pineapple Sweet Chili Wings
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes & flats)
1 tbsp baking powder (for crispy skin if baking)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp neutral oil (if baking or grilling)
Pineapple Sweet Chili Sauce:
1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)
1 tbsp sriracha (or chili flakes, adjust heat)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry, optional for thickening)
