Beef and Cabbage Stir-Fry – Recipe 🥢🔥
🔸 Ingredients:
• 400g beef (thinly sliced)
• 3 cups cabbage (chopped)
• 3 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 small onion (chopped)
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp oil
• ½ cup water or beef broth
• Salt and pepper to taste
Optional:
• A bit of sugar for balance
• Sesame oil for aroma
🔸 Directions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a bit of pepper. Let rest for 15–20 minutes.
2️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
3️⃣ Add the beef and cook until browned and tender.
4️⃣ Stir in oyster sauce and pour in water or broth. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
5️⃣ Add cabbage and stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes — just enough to keep it crunchy and fresh.
6️⃣ Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or a pinch of sugar.
7️⃣ Serve hot with rice and enjoy that perfect balance of savory and sweetness 🤎
💡 Tip: For a glossy sauce, dissolve ½ tsp cornstarch in a bit of water and add at the end while stirring!
