Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2–3 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
Instructions
1. Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups of flour. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the remaining flour and knead for 8–10 minutes (by hand or with a stand mixer) until the dough is smooth and elastic.
