Why it works: Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals caused by sun exposure and pollution—key culprits behind collagen breakdown and wrinkling.
Skin benefits: Deeply nourishes, improves skin texture, fades dark spots, and accelerates the healing of fine lines.
Nana’s tip: Use the oil from punctured vitamin E capsules for freshness and potency, rather than pre-bottled oil which may oxidize.
2. Fresh Aloe Vera Gel – The Soothing Hydrator
Why it works: Aloe vera contains polysaccharides, glycoproteins, and enzymes that soothe inflammation, boost collagen production, and provide intense hydration without heaviness.
Skin benefits: Plumps skin instantly, reduces redness, improves elasticity, and gives a bright, refreshed glow.
Nana’s rule: Always use fresh gel from the leaf (scooped out cleanly) or 100% pure organic aloe vera gel—avoid versions with alcohol or additives.

You’ll need:
2 tablespoons Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
The oil from 3–4 vitamin E capsules (or 1 tsp pure vitamin E oil)
1 tablespoon fresh aloe vera gel
A small, sterilized glass jar
A clean spoon or spatula
Instructions:
Gently melt the Vaseline using a double-boiler method (place the container in a bowl of hot water) until just softened—not liquified.
Puncture the vitamin E capsules and squeeze the oil into the softened Vaseline.
Add the fresh aloe vera gel.
Stir continuously in one direction until fully blended and creamy.
Allow to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until it returns to a balm consistency.
Store in a cool, dark place. Use within 2–3 weeks for maximum freshness.

Best used at night, as the final step in your skincare routine. Apply to cleansed, slightly damp skin.
Warm a tiny amount between your fingers and gently press—don’t rub—onto face, neck, décolletage, and around eyes (avoid direct eyelids).
Let it work overnight, waking up to deeply nourished, noticeably smoother skin.
Can also be used as a targeted wrinkle treatment on laugh lines, forehead, and crow’s feet during the day under makeup. Why This Trio Works Better Together
This isn’t just moisture—it’s smart skincare synergy:
Vitamin E protects and repairs skin cells.
Aloe Vera calms and plumps from within.
Vaseline locks both in while creating an ideal healing environment.
Together, they hydrate, nourish, protect, and renew—addressing wrinkles from multiple angles.
