Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats and cinnamon to the banana mixture. Stir until fully combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening slightly to form cookie shapes.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
