Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. You can also prepare this recipe using a stovetop grill pan if you don’t have access to an outdoor grill.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. This will create your Cajun seasoning butter.
  3. Brush each ear of corn generously with the Cajun seasoning butter, making sure to coat them evenly.
  4. Place the corn on the preheated grill or grill pan. Cook the corn, turning it occasionally, until it’s charred and tender, which usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
  5. While grilling, you can brush the corn with any remaining Cajun seasoning butter to add extra flavor.
  6. Once the corn is done, remove it from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter.
  7. Garnish the Cajun Corn on the Cob with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for some extra color and flavor. You can also serve it with lime wedges on the side for those who want to add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
  8. Serve the corn while it’s still hot, and enjoy your flavorful Cajun-style corn on the cob!

This Cajun-spiced corn makes a great side dish for barbecues, picnics, or any summertime gathering. The combination of the smoky grill flavor and the zesty Cajun seasoning is sure to be a hit.
