Steak Bites with Garlic Butter

Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in a rich, savory garlic butter sauce. This quick and flavorful dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or party appetizers!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Directions

Step 1: Prep the Steak

  1. Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak bites in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
  3. Sear each side for 1–2 minutes until golden brown and desired doneness is reached.
  4. Remove steak from pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make Garlic Butter

  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  2. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn it!).
  3. Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
  2. Serve hot with your favorite sides—try roasted potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
