Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Directions
Step 1: Prep the Steak
- Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
- Sear each side for 1–2 minutes until golden brown and desired doneness is reached.
- Remove steak from pan and set aside.
Step 3: Make Garlic Butter
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
- Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn it!).
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
Step 4: Serve
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides—try roasted potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
