Louisiana Voodoo Fries

Bold, cheesy, and smoky with a Cajun kick — these loaded fries are dangerously good and easy to whip up for a game day or weekend treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz) bag frozen fries (or make your own fresh-cut fries)
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more for sprinkling)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar-jack blend)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Optional Toppings:

  • Ranch dressing or homemade remoulade
  • Pickled jalapeños or banana peppers
  • Hot sauce (like Crystal or Louisiana Hot Sauce)

Directions

  1. Cook the Fries:
Bake or air fry the fries according to the package directions until golden and crispy. (Toss with Cajun seasoning as soon as they come out.)
  2. Assemble & Melt:
Spread fries on a baking sheet or cast iron skillet. Top with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
Return to the oven at 400°F for about 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  3. Top It Off:
Drizzle with ranch or remoulade, sprinkle with green onions, and add jalapeños if using. Finish with a dash more Cajun seasoning for extra kick.
  4. Serve Hot:
Grab a fork or just dive in — these don’t last long!
