Bold, cheesy, and smoky with a Cajun kick — these loaded fries are dangerously good and easy to whip up for a game day or weekend treat.
Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen fries (or make your own fresh-cut fries)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more for sprinkling)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar-jack blend)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Optional Toppings:
- Ranch dressing or homemade remoulade
- Pickled jalapeños or banana peppers
- Hot sauce (like Crystal or Louisiana Hot Sauce)
Directions
- Cook the Fries:
Bake or air fry the fries according to the package directions until golden and crispy. (Toss with Cajun seasoning as soon as they come out.) - Assemble & Melt:
Spread fries on a baking sheet or cast iron skillet. Top with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
Return to the oven at 400°F for about 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Top It Off:
Drizzle with ranch or remoulade, sprinkle with green onions, and add jalapeños if using. Finish with a dash more Cajun seasoning for extra kick. - Serve Hot:
