Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: bacon bits, chopped green onions, or sour cream

  4. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk, ensuring a smooth consistency.
  5. Add the diced potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

  7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings, and enjoy the ultimate comfort food!
