Sausage Pigs in a Blanket

These Sausage Pigs in a Blanket are the perfect appetizer for any occasion—whether it’s a party, game day, or just a fun family snack. Easy to make and deliciously savory, these little treats are always a crowd favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) mini cocktail sausages or regular-size sausages cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough (or refrigerated biscuit dough)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Mustard or ketchup, for dipping (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough or biscuit dough on a flat surface. If using crescent rolls, separate the dough into individual triangles. For biscuits, just separate the dough into individual rounds.
  3. Wrap the Sausages: Take one mini sausage (or a cut piece of regular sausage) and place it at the wide end of each dough triangle or biscuit round. Roll it up tightly.
  4. Bake: Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. If you’d like, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic or onion powder for extra flavor.
  5. Bake Until Golden: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately with mustard or ketchup on the side for dipping.
