Ingredients:
- 12 oz egg noodles (or your preferred pasta)
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Prepare the Noodles: In a pot of salted water, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions, but undercook them by about 1-2 minutes (they will continue cooking in the crockpot). Drain and set aside.
- Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, butter, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cream cheese and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Layer in the Crockpot: Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Add the cooked noodles to the crockpot. Pour the creamy sauce mixture over the noodles. Stir to coat the noodles evenly.
- Add the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the top of the noodles and sauce.
- Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring halfway through, until the noodles are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Once cooked, give it a good stir and season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness!
