A naturally sweet, citrusy drink made with juicy peaches and zesty lemons — the ultimate summer refreshment!
Ingredients
- 3 large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced (or 2 cups frozen peach slices)
- ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- ½ cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice
- Optional: Fresh mint leaves, peach or lemon slices for garnish
Directions
- Make the peach puree:
In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth. - Strain (optional):
For a smoother texture, strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. - Add lemon and sweetener:
Stir in the lemon juice and honey (or sugar). Mix until the sweetener is fully dissolved. - Add water and ice:
Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well. Add ice and refrigerate until chilled. - Serve:
Pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with peach slices, lemon wheels, or mint leaves if desired.
