Savory Sausage and Cheese Crescents

These Savory Sausage and Cheese Crescents are the perfect bite-sized snack or appetizer—flaky crescent rolls stuffed with flavorful sausage and melted cheese. Quick to make and always a crowd favorite, they’re great for game days, parties, or a hearty breakfast on the go.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey), cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled.
  2. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix sausage with shredded cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.

Step 2: Assemble the Crescents

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  3. Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of the sausage-cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up each triangle, starting at the wide end, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 3: Bake

  1. Bake for 11–13 minutes or until crescents are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Optional: sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions for a fresh touch.
