Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 3 cups peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work great)
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cobbler Topping:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

  1. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla.
  2. Stir until evenly mixed, then pour into the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
