Big Mac French Toast

A wild and savory twist on breakfast! This Big Mac French Toast combines everything you love about a Big Mac—beef, cheese, pickles, and special sauce—layered between golden, custard-soaked bread. It’s indulgent, fun, and perfect for brunch when you want something bold.


Ingredients

For the French Toast Layers:

  • 6 slices thick-cut bread (like brioche or Texas toast)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter or oil, for frying

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • Shredded lettuce, for serving

For the “Big Mac” Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Directions

Step 1: Make the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix together all sauce ingredients. Chill until ready to use.

Step 2: Cook the Beef

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt and pepper until fully browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare French Toast

  1. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and cook until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.

Step 4: Assemble the Big Mac French Toast

  1. Place one slice of French toast on a plate. Top with ground beef, cheese, pickles, and a drizzle of special sauce.
  2. Add a second slice of French toast and repeat the layers.
  3. Top with a final slice of French toast and secure with a knife or skewer.
  4. Serve warm with shredded lettuce and extra sauce on the side.
