Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 20 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: extra Oreos and chocolate chips for topping
Directions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth. - Add Dry Ingredients:
Stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until just combined — do not overmix. - Fold in Goodies:
Gently fold in chopped Oreos and chocolate chips. The batter will be thick and fudgy. - Bake:
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Top with extra chopped Oreos and chocolate chips if desired.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. - Cool & Slice:
Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars. For cleaner cuts, chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before slicing.
