CHOCOLATE PECAN DELIGHT

Here’s the recipe for Chocolate Pecan Delight:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese (1 package), room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip, thawed
  • 3.9 oz box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons pecans, chopped
  • 2 cups cool whip, thawed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar, and 1 cup finely chopped pecans. Use your hands to work the mixture into a crumble. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together both pudding mixes and milk until smooth.
  5. Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to the pudding mixture, and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  6. Fold in 1 cup of cool whip until well incorporated.
  1. Pour the pudding mixture over the cooled crust in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  2. Top the pudding layer with 2 cups of cool whip, spreading it evenly over the top.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining chopped pecans over the cool whip layer.
  4. Chill the Chocolate Pecan Delight in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  5. Serve chilled, and refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container.
