Dill Pickle Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

For the Salad:

  • 3 cups cooked pasta (rotini, shells, or bowties work best)
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped

For the Dressing:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. Prepare the Dressing:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, dill pickle juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble the Salad:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, diced pickles, red onion, cheddar cheese, and fresh dill.

  4. Chill and Serve:
