Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Toppings of your choice:
    • Crushed nuts (almonds, peanuts, or hazelnuts)
    • Shredded coconut
    • Mini chocolate chips
    • Rainbow sprinkles

Directions

  1. Prepare Bananas:
    • Slice the bananas into 1-inch thick rounds.
  2. Melt Chocolate:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using).
    • Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Coat Banana Slices:
    • Using a fork or skewer, dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate.
    • Let excess chocolate drip off, then place the slices on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Sprinkle your favorite toppings onto the chocolate-coated bananas while still wet.
  5. Freeze:
    • Place the tray in the freezer for 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate is firm and bananas are frozen.
