Cheeseburger Sliders

Mini-sized but packed with flavor, these cheeseburger sliders are the ultimate crowd-pleaser! Perfect for parties, game days, or a fun family dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese, halved
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or tray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Press the seasoned beef evenly into a square or rectangular shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Bake the beef in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  5. Remove the beef from the oven and immediately place the halved slices of cheddar cheese over the top, allowing them to melt.
  6. Cut the beef into 12 equal squares to match the size of the slider buns.
  7. Lightly brush the tops of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them in the oven for 2-3 minutes, if desired.
  8. Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of beef and cheese on each bun, then adding optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and condiments.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
