Crispy golden fries loaded with juicy shaved steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melty cheese—these Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries are the ultimate comfort food! Perfect for game day, parties, or whenever you’re craving something indulgent and delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 (26 oz) bag frozen French fries (or homemade)
- 1 lb shaved ribeye or sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup Cheez Whiz or queso (optional, for extra cheesy goodness)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
- Bake the fries:
Preheat oven according to the fries’ package instructions. Bake until crispy and golden. (Or air fry for extra crunch!) - Sauté the veggies:
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft and slightly caramelized, about 6–8 minutes. - Cook the steak:
Push veggies to one side of the skillet and add the shaved steak. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5–6 minutes, then mix everything together. - Assemble the fries:
On a baking sheet or serving dish, layer the hot fries, then top with the steak and veggie mixture. - Add cheese:
Sprinkle with shredded cheese and drizzle with Cheez Whiz or queso, if using. Place under the broiler for 2–3 minutes, just until the cheese melts and bubbles. - Garnish and serve:
Top with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot!
